Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard

Mark is a highly talented winemaker who worked for many years as an assistant to the Godmother of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Helene Turley. This was followed by various positions, including Colgin Cellars, where he was winemaker. Today, however, he has his own winery and is considered THE Chardonnay guru in Northern California. He made this fantastic wine from the fruit of Larry Hyde and his sons' vineyard in the Carneros AVA. It smells wonderfully of the peel of these thick lemons from the Amalfi Coast, fresh and yet soft. Floral notes can also be detected in the fragrance. The wine spreads across the palate with elegance and finesse and impresses with its precision and freshness. A masterpiece!
