Grüner Veltliner Eichenstaude

I had the 2002 Eichenstaude for my son's christening in 2006, a great wine for a magical moment! It impressed wine personalities from all over the world and also us; no, it touched us. The current vintage has the same genes, the same dispositions as the 2002. There is an abundance of fruit, apricots, gooseberries and everything your heart desires. But there is something else, a spiciness, a delicate camomile scent that breathes a new, wonderful dimension into the wine. Simply great! There is plenty of power on the palate, but also acidity, which absorbs the lavish concentration and gives the wine a lightness that is second to none.
