The Thanisch family's Badstube parcel is located in the best possible neighborhood, not far from the famous "Berncasteler Doctor" vineyard, at the height of the Weinberghäuschen and has a lot to offer. The Riesling smells deliciously of ripe white and yellow peach, passion fruit and delicate Maui pineapple. Underneath these lavish fruit aromas, there is also something spicy that occasionally makes its way into the nose, giving the bouquet a seductive twist and depth. Crystal clear and charged with energy, the wine swirls through the palate at the beginning until this insane freshness focuses it, reins it in and lets it end in the sheer endless, wonderfully balanced, mineral finish and you are not sure whether the wine is dry or slightly sweet.
