Riesling Smaragd Hochrain

This Hochrain is and remains one of my favorite wines from Austria. It combines an incredibly attractive aroma, vineyard peaches, apricots and herbal notes with a hint of minerality. The bouquet is almost unfathomable. It's madness! Something like this from Austria? I don't normally get so euphoric when it comes to Austrian Rieslings, as the German dry ones are much closer to me than those from our eastern neighbor. Sorry! But this one has done it to me! It has a lot of pressure on the palate, lots of juice and power, but also a clarity, straightforwardness and liveliness that you don't find every day. I am convinced that this is a great wine and that you should definitely not miss it if you like great Rieslings! But you'll have to be quick, because we only have a few bottles available!
