Saint-Péray

This wine combines strength and freshness with elegance. Especially here, in the northern Rhône. This is Marsanne and how could it be otherwise, it's top class, of course it says Clape on the label. It smells wonderful. I would describe the bouquet as cautiously fruity, because there are rather few expressive fruits here, such as quince or pomelos, which bring in something lemony but not really, only in this direction. Bee honey in the honeycomb also comes to mind, which gives the fragrance a little more bass and makes everything a little rounder. On the palate, power, freshness and structure come together to create a great wine with an elegant and incredibly mineral, really salty finish. Now you realize that this is a noble wine, a wine with finesse, one that has a story to tell, one that entertains at the highest level. Well done dear Olivier!
