Santenay Blanc 1er Cru Beauregard

Santenay, that's right, is also one of the appellations that needs to be rediscovered. Philipp Pascal is one step ahead of many in this respect, as he recognized the untapped potential in Santenay a few years ago. This vineyard was planted - the grapes hang loosely on the bunches, so they are well aerated and therefore less susceptible to disease - on one of the most beautiful, best terroirs, in Beauregard, in 1996 and is therefore in its prime! The fragrance? Somehow typical Santenay, but also with a somewhat special twist. Honeycomb, spices, white flowers, fresh brioche and white almonds are mixed with a subtle iodine note, which makes the bouquet so outrageously exciting. You will see! Wonderfully powerful, dense and yet lively and agile, the wine moves through the palate before its breathtakingly mineral finish sets in. A great white!
