Saumur blanc Brézé, that says something to you? Congratulations, then you belong to a very small, very exclusive circle of wine connoisseurs, or rather wine lovers! Brézé, right there in this great location, Romain's teacher also made wine, none other than Nady Foucault, former owner of the mythical Clos Rougeard. Now that Charly, Nady's brother, has sadly passed away and Nady has sold Clos Rougeard to the Bouygues family, it is up to Romain alone to continue writing the story of Brézé. So, now to this breathtaking Chenin from the Brézé vineyard, whose aroma is already calling me to taste it, it smells so incredibly attractive of roasted quinces and honey. Firm on the palate and straight as a runway, it really packs a punch in the middle, but without affecting a lively, precise, juicy and incredibly long finish. What a great wine, no, a great wine.
