According to literature, it was the Hermanns who were the first to experiment with Sauvignon Blanc in the Herrschaft. This gives them a certain advantage in terms of knowledge and experience, which certainly has a positive effect on the wine. This one could easily come from France. Ok, maybe it would be a little leaner there. Nevertheless, as a self-confessed Sauvignon lover, I am fascinated by the incredible variety, the different characters and aromas that wines of this variety have to offer. Hermann's Sauvignon also delights me with its expressive, fruity, even exotic and spicy character, its friendly, charming and approachable nature. It is wonderfully uncomplicated, without becoming boring or one-dimensional, well-proportioned, with good freshness and a wonderfully juicy, mineral and precise finish, this Sauvignon delights me anew with every sip!
