This family has drive, but really drive. Whenever the opportunity arises, the Botts travel to the motherland of great wines, France. Why? Well, because nowhere is wine culture more alive than in the Grande Nation, nowhere are the limits of winemaking tested as much as in France. And because the Bott family wants to experience as much as possible, they travel a lot.
Of course, the Botts always bring new knowledge with them and put it into practice straight away. For example, they gave the Super Granum some skin contact, but without destemming. It was matured on its fine lees in wooden barrels and was bottled without filtration. A wine that smells very delicate but great, almost a bit like a large green tea, fresh and floral. On the palate, you can feel that the grapes were ripe and matured into a complex wine. It's wonderful how the wine has retained its freshness, precision and fruit!
