TINUS Pure Nature Blanc VdF

2022

Traubensorten Marsanne, Viognier
Trinktemperatur 10° - 13°

It is sun-kissed and wonderfully fresh at night here at 420 meters above sea level, on a hill dotted with white stones so typical of the region, not far from the small town of Apt, in the heart of the Luberon. For the simple reason that the soil here is unimaginably barren, Jean-Marie planted just 5500 vines per hectare. For this wine, Guffens uses Viognier and Marsanne, which are vinified with as little intervention as possible and matured aroma-neutrally in concrete tanks - the most common, perhaps also the prettiest way in this region of France - in order to bring the terroir completely pure to the bottle. The wine smells genuinely and unbelievably beautiful, like a wild mix of ripe yellow fruit, and is also wonderfully spicy underneath. NO, it does NOT smell like the average natural wine! Elegant and surprisingly lively, fresh, fabulously balanced, it moves through the palate and finishes wonderfully juicy. A wine that manages completely without added sulphur. AND HOW!
