Weissburgunder

Well, first things first: this wine rocked the tasting. Which is to say that after all the really great wines, both white and red, it was still buzzing around in our heads and we couldn't help but ask Alex if we could try it again at the end. Well, the wine was still a sweeper - as Kurt Angerer would call it - even if it didn't ultimately bring the complexity of the Möhlin or Bellen to the glass. Nevertheless, its wonderfully clear aromas, freshness and directness are incredibly captivating. Wonderfully elegant, almost weightless and yet powerfully present, it moves through the palate before ending with a hellishly hot, unexpectedly long and incredibly juicy finish. What a great wine!
