White Wine - Distenta III

Elaine and I love this wine! I don't know why other people don't seem to feel the same way, but well, you can't win everyone over! This white is a stunner I can tell you. Wow, how it smells. Divine! It's buttery scotch on the nose, lots of freshly baked brioche, it smells just like brioche in my kitchen because my sweetheart baked one for us today, so I know what I'm writing about! Stone fruit and a little herbal spice weave their way in and make the bouquet even more irresistible! The wine feels like velvet on the palate, thick, downy velvet. And then, all of a sudden, the structure makes itself known, acidity kicks in at just the right moment, lifting the fluffy velvet and smoothing it out, as flat as the surface of a lotus leaf, pulling everything taut and heralding a fabulously juicy, long and mineral finish! Sau guet!
