Côtes Catalanes Le Pas del Gazeil

This wine is like a dinosaur. Well, no, because they are extinct, but fortunately the Lledoner Pelut is not yet. It is a Grenache, but a very special variety of it. It produces an archaic wine whose aroma is reminiscent of a butcher's shop and its display. It goes from sausage to freshly cut beef. But don't worry, the herbal spice is not missing. On the palate, the wine is tightly structured and elegantly built, but everything is wonderfully packaged in a body that is not stingy with charms. Gilles has also shown a knack here and given this variety a chance, has taken risks and today it is paying off. Good for us, because a wine like this is a gift!
