Grain Pinot champ dury

When I left after my first visit, Marie-Thérèse gave me two magnums of the 2014 champ dury, smiled and said: "This is for a nice evening with friends, then think of me and drink the wine to the health of us all. She also said, you know, I like this wine so much that I only bottled it in magnums and didn't sell it. It's only for good friends! Of course, I was delighted to be given such a rich gift and even more delighted to become one of Marie-Thérèse's good friends after my first visit, which is a reciprocal relationship. A great Burgundy that smells incredibly of cherries, but also has something floral about it. Violets perhaps? Spices and smoke mingle with it and give the bouquet depth. The wine is dense and incredibly smooth on the palate. Noble tannins shape the wine and give it a long finish. Vin de Garde! For once in a normal bottle!
